Element: Establish a valid sampling plan
  • Recognise and use sampling tables from relevant Australian Standard
  • Determine scope and purpose of sampling
  • Identify the parameters to be measured
  • Determine how performance will be measured
  • Plan for how and when samples will be taken
  • Determine sample size for valid assessment
  • Identify levels for triggering corrective actions

  • Conduct sampling according to identified sampling plan, using appropriate facilities
  • Use aseptic techniques
  • Record and monitor sampling data
  • Interpret and report outcomes of sampling to relevant personnel

Assessment Tasks
